How to Remove Blank Lines from an Excel Spreadsheet

I’ve downloaded a spreadsheet of email addresses that contains a lot of blank lines. I’d like to get rid of them. How do I do it?

  • First, select all your lines (Ctrl+A).
  • Then go to “Home”->”Find & Select” right click and choose “Go To Special”.
  • You’ll get a popup, choose “Blanks”.
  • Hit “OK”.
  • You’ll now see your spreadsheet with only the blank lines selected.
  • You can delete these by going to “Home”->“Delete”->“Delete Sheet Rows”.
  • All your black lines will be deleted. Hurray!

Now I just need to get rid of my duplicate lines in Excel
